Behind every writer is her staff. Besides coaching me on my public image, the responsibilty of my staff is to keep me focused, mentally balanced, and physically fit. Let’s meet my four three personal assistants.
First we have a member who wears many hats, or just has many names: Tiger Lily, Pippy White Stocking, and Pudge (obvious).
Spanky is my peace counselor.
Focus is a skill perfected by meditation. Lie flat–feet too–for an optimal chi experience.
Spanky and Pudge as babies. While Spanky may have been a giant baby, Pudge supersized over him in no time.
But keep a clean image. You never know when your past will come back to haunt you.
My image consultants, Twinkie and Snowpea. (update: Twinkie has passed away)
RIP Twinkie.
I don’t know why I never thought about a staff–what a great idea.
Cynthia~sometimes they get off track and need focus but all-in-all they have been priceless.
haha my “staff” sleeps on the job too much and can lick his own genitals. Sigh.
I saw your comment on Kasie’s blog about Jacob and Renesmee and had to come meet the one woman in America who hadn’t read Breaking Dawn – I am quite impressed!
Sophia~Staff these days … It’s hard to find good help anymore.
Breaking Dawn. Yes! Of course. What is that?
Just kidding. I might inpress you even more by stating I never read any of them. Saw some of the movies though. And feel totally “with it” by saying, I’m team Edward. There. Am I cool?
Doh. I’m Team Jacob.
lol
Man, I actually organize my bookshelves by vampire…
To be honest, Sophia, I’m team both ways. I lean to Edward cause I don’t like long-haired dudes, but when Jacob cut his hair I said, “hmmm”. When in doubt, have one of each. That’s my motto.
Priceless. I only have a staff of one, my dog. I’ll have to put him up. He deserves some credit. Thanks for the idea.
tmso~Bats make good staffers too. They only work nights, though.
